Camp Coyote is a chance to get together with other trans-identified youth from across Nova Scotia to share experiences, spend time in a safe space, meet new people, and experience camp the way you want.
Activities include: social support activities, trans-health discussions, campfires, scavenger hunts, swimming, arts & crafts, resources, and more!
Camp Seahorse is a chance to have a summer camp experience among LGBTQ peers. Meet new people, try new activities, learn new things, and have fun! No homophobia, no bullying, all acceptance!
Activities include: writing, arts & crafts, scavenger hunts, support & discussion groups, resources, campfires, ghost stories, swimming, and much more!

About Camp Coyote & Seahorse
Both camps for 2014 will be held at Camp Hiawatha, a Scout Camp. The Youth Project will have the entire camp space reserved for Coyote & Seahorse.
Both camps are staffed by Youth Project staff and trained volunteers. There will be a trained lifeguard present for swimming.
Both camps have transportation provided. To access the bus, campers must be at The Youth Project to depart, and will be dropped off at the same location.
Youth under 18 must parental permission forms signed.
Both Camps Coyote & Seahorse require a refundable deposit of $25.00. Fee must be included with registration forms to be accepted. Deposit ensures a spot is held, and will be returned after camp is over.
