Library

The Youth Project has a library of books, both non-fiction and fiction on LGBT youth issues. We have a great assortment of non-fiction books full of information on being lesbian, gay, bisexual, queer and/or transgender, coming out, dealing with homophobia, etc. We have great books for parents. We also have books for people who work with youth.

We have a newly expanded library of young adult novels with stories and characters that are LGBT focussed. If you like to read, we have some great books. Many of them are listed as the top novels for LGBT youth. There are even some manga and graphic novels.

We will mail books to youth who don’t live in the Halifax area.

For more information on our library, new books, book reviews, or to see our catalogue click here.
