The Youth Project has several publications, posters and pamphlets available.
Youth Project Poster and Pamphlet
If you have a space to help promote the Youth Project and let youth know about our programs and services, we can send you some posters and pamphlets.
We have two posters available that speak out on homophobia in schools.
We also often have posters from other organizations or campaigns that are available through us. Call us to see what is in stock.
Homophobia Hurts Teacher’s Manual
This manual is aimed at teachers and educators who are looking for more information on fighting homophobia in their school or classroom, providing support to LGBT students, or introducing these topics within the classroom.
The manual has information on LGBT youth, strategies for teachers, educators and schools, sample lesson plans, and resources. Homophobia Hurts is on the Nova Scotia Department of Education approved resource list.
Transmissions! is a book produced by youth from the Youth Project. It contains stories, journal entries, poems and artwork written by transgender youth. Transgender youth from the Maritimes, the Eastern U.S. and the U.K. all contributed. This book is in our library, but youth can receive their own copy for free (while supplies last).
