Access Notes
Youth Project programs are accessible to wheelchairs and other mobility aids. We can book ASL interpreters for the program you want to attend, and our virtual programs have closed captioning. We provide masks for all participants to wear together to keep each other from getting sick. For stim toys and noise-cancelling headphones, ask your program facilitator!
Housing Support Drop-In
The Youth Project will be on site for Drop-In Housing Support at the Alderney Gate Public Library [60 Alderney Drive, Dartmouth] on the first Tuesday of each month, from 4–6pm.
Our Housing Support Program connects 2SLGBTQIA+ youth ages 16–30 to a Housing Support Worker who can provide access to resources and services, help with applications to subsidies, and support folks in navigating housing issues.
Transformers
Transformers is a support and discussion group for Two-Spirit, trans, and gender non-conforming youth, 12-25. The purpose of this group is to bring together 2STGNC youth to share experiences, talk about gender, and learn more about support options. The group decides on what topics and activities they would like to discuss or do. The group is facilitated by two knowledgeable volunteers from the community. See monthly program calendar for meeting times!
