UPCOMING PROGRAMS ~

Access Notes

Youth Project programs are accessible to wheelchairs and other mobility aids. We can book ASL interpreters for the program you want to attend, and our virtual programs have closed captioning. We provide masks for all participants to wear together to keep each other from getting sick. For stim toys and noise-cancelling headphones, ask your program facilitator!

Camp Coyote!

Camp Coyote!

Camp Coyote is a 4 day 3 night overnight (totally free!) summer camp for trans, gender non-conforming, Two Spirit, gender diverse and non binary youth ages 13-18. Camp Coyote takes place roughly an hour outside of HRM. We provide transportation to and from Camp that leaves from the North End of Halifax. Camp Coyote is a Covid-safer camp in hopes to make camp a more accessible place for more youth and families.

You’ll see our second slide mentions some pieces about access - we have a full camp access guide we provide campers with that includes more specific information around accessibility pieces at Camp Coyote.

Can’t wait to see you at Camp Coyote 2026. If you have any further questions, please email kay@youthproject.ns.ca!
