Participants are encouraged to bring any food or snacks of their choice. Participants are also more than welcome to bring food or snacks to share with others, but you are not obligated to. Please be mindful of food allergies if you are planning to bring any items to share. Pre-packaged food should come in their original packaging with the ingredients list, and homemade goods should come with an ingredient list if possible.
Bringing food or snacks is not mandatory for attending the picnic. The Youth Project will be providing some snacks, drinks, and pastries for those who attend. If you have any specific dietary restrictions, please reach out via email so we can have something prepared for you. Sunscreen will be available on site.
*This event is for all ages 16+; youth under the age of 16 need to have a guardian attending with them.
*This event is intended for folks who identify as living in a bigger body (or those who might identify as larger, plus size, etc). We will not be defining what qualifies as a “bigger body.” If you feel like this space is for you and you want to come, then please attend. If you do not identify as a bigger-bodied person, but would like to attend alongside a person to support them, this is welcome.
