CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS: GENDER X POETRY

We are now accepting submissions of visual art and writing for two future editions of The Youth Politic: Gender (002), and Poetry (003)! Open until Feb 27 2026.

For our upcoming second issue, we’re accepting art and writing from young people under 25, exploring personal experiences of gender. Have you drawn a self-portrait about your gender exploration? Have you made a comic about gender euphoria? Do you have a letter to your future self? Do you have a question you want to ask a trans adult? We’ll be featuring a selection of submissions in our spring Gender issue of The Youth Politic! 

For our third issue, we will be compiling poetry submissions of any theme, from 2SLGBTQIA+ writers of all ages! This can also include visual poetry, poetry comics, and anything else you create as a poem. Content-wise, please keep in mind we make resources for youth under 25.
