Welcome back campers! We’ve missed you so much. It’s time we get ready for our annual overnight camp for Two-Spirit, trans, and non-binary youth (ages 13-18). This year, 2026, we're gathering August 23-26th, and registration is now open!

COMMUNITY BUILDING

Many of our campers across the years have found they have made lasting friendships and built a stronger community support system. Come hang out with 2STGNC peers from across NS!

PROGRAMS FOR YOU

Our 3-day camp is structured with lots of options for engaging however you want to. Sing karaoke, swim in the lake, read quietly outdoors, or come hang out at a scheduled activity, like: DIY Fashion, Queer History Lessons, Zine Making, and more! Have an idea for a camp activity or program? Tell us in your registration form!

INTERGENERATIONAL SUPPORT

Camp Counsellors are 2STGNC adults, including staff from the Youth Project and trusted, trained volunteers. We also have a Counsellor-in-Training program for previous Coyote campers to transition into our support team!

LOW-BARRIER ACCESS

Camp Coyote is a free camp, and any campers are welcome to take the bus with us from Halifax to Windsor (NS). Our camp is has a masking agreement in indoor common spaces, and is wheelchair accessible (with some exceptions/barriers]. For more specific access information see the next section!

Access

Like all of our programs, we wear masks at Camp Coyote when we’re all together indoors. We’re also a COVID-conscious camp because we take COVID-19 rapid tests before we leave, and every day at camp. We provide masks and tests.

The camp we use has wheelchair accessible facilities, with some exceptions and barriers. Youth who have questions about access barriers can email tobias@youthproject.ns.ca! We are more than happy to work with campers to create a more accessible camp - please let us know any barriers you might have to accessing camp in your registration form, and we will work together to get you there.

For more details, there is a full accessibility guide linked here that we made in 2023. There are some barriers listed in this guide that have since been repaired. 2026 Access Guide coming soon!
